As I sit down to write this, I still can't believe that it's been 20 years since Seinfeld went off of NBC's airwaves. Though I was too young to see the final season of Seinfeld fresh on the screen (I was three days away from turning two years old when Seinfeld ended), I grew up watching reruns and laughing like a loon at a show I didn't understand at six years old. One of my favorite automotive designs of all-time are early second-generation Chevrolet Camaros. Featuring a bold design by Bill Mitchell, early second-generation Camaros feature a design reminiscent of Ferrari sports cars, but with a bold, American flair. Though any 1970-1973 Camaro typically has a nice appearance, I prefer the split-bumper RS Camaros to the full-bumpered Camaro Sport Coupes. This 1970-1/2 Chevrolet Camaro is not only a RS model, it also features the Z28 option; the car is also built up as a day-two style muscle car. It's been one of the most anticipated returns to the Corvette lineup: the proverbial "King of the Hill", the ZR1. It's been almost four years since the last ZR1 has been produced, but a recent Car and Driver issue highlights the new  C7 ZR1 ! Most likely the new ZR1 is going to cost a pretty penny, so unless you plan to save your pennies and dimes, an older ZR1 will be the better bet to build up as a sleeper. One of the coolest automotive trends making a comeback is the so-called van craze. Featuring bold, outrageous murals and mag wheels, I have been an active participant of the van craze with my 1978 Dodge Tradesman 200 (though my does not have any bold murals...yet). Vintage custom vans thusly have a soft spot in my heart, and this 1975 Chevrolet G10 Van is definitely pulling at my heartstrings with its Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the Moon" mural. One of my favorite shows of all time that I will never get sick of is Seinfeld . The amount of times I related to that show is both admirable and disturbing, and the concept of a show about nothing was and still is a brilliant concept. The best part of the show, however, was Newman (played by Wayne Knight) and his USPS Chevrolet P30 step van. My dad owned the exact version of his truck and used his truck to haul his tools around for his contracting business. A little bit older but still a step van is this 1954 Chevrolet Boyertown Merchandiser body, a rare sight in any condition today. Today in Riegelsville, Pennsylvania, the annual Fall Roll Out car show took place, marking the end of the car show season in Pennsylvania for the year. With that, the point of emphasis in terms of the automotive scene shifts from the show field to the shop. One vehicle I've been interested in building (on top of all of the projects I already own, no less) is an Advance-Design pickup, and this 1949 Chevrolet 3100 short bed would be a cool project. Featuring a lower-body monochrome body kit with matching monochrome aluminum wheels, the GTZ eschewed subtlety for aggressiveness.
